Get Beetles

Do it yourself, or we'll do it for you

Early Detection and Immediate Action are the Hemlock’s only hope…

We give you 2 ways to get St Beetles on your trees…and control HWA. We’ll help you do it yourself, or we’ll do it for you. Either way, the Hemlock wins. The sooner either of us deploy the St Beetle, the quicker your Hemlocks will recover from this invasive tree-terrorist.

OPTION #1: Do it Yourself

We’ll give you everything you need to deploy St Beetles yourself. We’ll help you assess your trees, estimate how many Beetles you need, provide the beetles and guide you through their release. When you buy our Beetles, you buy our continuous support of you and your Hemlocks. For pricing, shipping and handling instructions click [HERE].

OPTION #2: We’ll do it for You

We’ll visit your property, assess your trees, create a site-specific plan of beetle attack, provide and install the correct amount of beetles, and monitor and maintain progress.

OPTION #3: Tree-Savers Full Service Tree Program™

We’re in the business of fighting the infestation of HWA. Though we strongly advocate the use of Biological Control as the most effective and long-term solution, we’ll use chemicals if called for. We recognize that sometimes more immediately aggressive methods are necessary. Chemicals can provide a quick and powerful short-term blow to HWA. Chemical pesticides are not sustainable…are expensive…and don’t biologically control HWA. Sometimes they’re useful.

Our Full Service Tree Program™ ensures you get the best of both.

  • Trunk injections of registered pesticides…
  • Soil injections of registered pesticides…
  • Specialized micronutrient fertilization sprayed aerially or injected into the soil…
  • The cultivation and in-forest installation of predatory St Beetles for maximum biological control of HWA.

Using chemical pesticides with St Beetles takes considerable expertise.

Killing HWA with pesticides can also kill the St Beetle if not handled correctly. Our Full Service Program™ ensures that doesn’t happen.

Our goal is to stop this destructive invasive pest by empowering private property owners to take control of the health of their trees.
